Exelinca Learning French is one of the subjects that is built into many school curriculum’s around the world. When I was at school I began by learning two languages and then had to make a choice after a year; German or French. Being able to learn how to speak French during that time would have been great as living in the UK I’ve made several trips to France since then. However I decided to learn German during my school years.
Many years later I decided it was about time that I learnt French as I enjoyed visiting the country, the language sounds so nice, and not forgetting the French language is also known as the “language of love”!
Although I could still remember the odd word or two from my school years, the majority of what I’d learnt, including many words, sayings, and common sentences had been forgotten. It was basically like starting over, so I decided I should start by buying a book on how to learn French.
After what must have been a couple of months of trying to learn the French language I was still struggling to progress as much as I wanted, and even tried several other books and resources. The problem was that as soon as I’d read a lesson in a book I’d near enough forget what I’d learnt as soon as I turned to the next page. I’ve come to realize since then that being able to learn how to speak the French language is more difficult when reading out of a book than it is by using other learning methods (which I’ll explain a little further on).
Luckily with French being such a popular language to learn I met a friend of a friend who happened to be fluent in speaking French. I was very impressed and quizzed him on how he got to be so good at the language. To my surprise he hadn’t learnt by using a book from a bookshop like so many people try to do, but rather used a resource he found online. After his recommendation I decided to check it out.
The resource that I was referred to seemed too good to be true as it claims to be able to teach you to speak French in less than 8 weeks. I don’t usually go for resources that claim these sorts of things but having been recommended to it I decided to give it a go.
The fact is that many guides on learning French are full of inaccurate or difficult to understand information. This resource however is totally different and helped me to confidently speak French in just a couple of months.
The success I was having learning the French language I believe is down to the way it is taught, and that’s why I progressed so fast using this particular resource. Rather than provide lessons in the form of a book, it has over 11 hours worth of audio lessons, grammar lessons (which helped me out tremendously), and software that is great for learning interactively. This is important in order to learn French fast as the learning experience is more enjoyable and it’s easier to remember what’s been taught in the lessons.
I’ve since recommended this resource to several friends, and even people I’ve met and been chatting to! I fully believe this resource is the main reason I can confidently speak French, and I believe it’s perfect for anyone wanting to learn French as quickly as possible, and as enjoyable as possible.
